Join the Farm Friends 4-H Club at their FUNdraising Carnival. It will be held on Saturday, July 18th from 11a.m. until 3p.m. It will be located at the Grandview Farm Market, 1040 Canandaigua Road, Macedon, NY 14502. (1 mile south of Route 31 in Macedon) (315)986-2551 for directions or more information. The youth are raising money for Joining Hearts and Hands to purchase a goat in Kenya. The day will include carnival games created by the Farm Friends 4-H Club, a live animal display, silent auction table, refreshments, and a visit at Grandview Farm Market.
The 10 Acre Wood was established in Macedon, NY in 1997 by Sean and Susan Coyle. It is the home of LaMancha Dairy Goats, soaps produced from their milk, quality Holland Lop, Polish, and Dutch Rabbits, and brown egg laying chickens.
The animals are housed in a beautiful cedar sided barn built by Sean with help from his brother and neighbors. The lumber came from recycled telephone poles. The result is a well ventilated and spacious home for our hobby.
We strive to raise quality purebred goats and rabbits while keeping our numbers manageable. The soaps and natural toiletries are made with love in small batches in our kitchen.
